Sugatsune America Launches the ALT-ST Pocketing Door System

February 27, 2024 – Las Vegas, NV. Over its 94-year history, Sugatsune has built a reputation for manufacturing high quality hardware based on the challenges that customers face in the market. With the growing popularity of pocketing cabinet door systems and feedback from customers about existing systems, Sugatsune’s engineers created a solution that is simple, reliable and easy to install. Launched in 2023, the new ALT-ST will be one of the focal points being shown in different applications.

The ALT-ST comes in 2 different versions and with various slide lengths to accommodate different door sizes and weights. It also hinges on Sugatsune’s new 360-Olympia cup hinges which feature an industry first, 5-speed adjustable damper to ensure the desired soft-closing speeds. The ALT-ST is available for inset and overlay applications and is priced well below some of the popular competitive systems.
